Armin Strom Mirrored Force Resonance, in ruby
Master watchmaker Claude Greisler believes materials must carry meaning beyond aesthetics, and with a local stone artisan, Armin Strom has cut a dial from natural ruby.
Armin Strom today introduces the Mirrored Force Resonance Ruby, limited to 5 pieces. Each dial is cut from genuine ruby, selected for the depth of its colour, and no two stones are identical.

The brand treats fine inclusions and tonal variations as signatures of authenticity, not flaws. The off-centre dial carries white printed Roman numerals, set in a 43mm stainless steel case on a grey Alcantara strap.
Ruby plays a second role inside the movement: synthetic ruby jewels reduce friction where the natural stone cannot reach. The manual-winding Calibre ARF21 is designed and produced entirely in-house, its patented resonance clutch linking two independent regulating systems so the twin balance wheels oscillate together. A pusher at 2 o’clock resets both seconds counters at once.
Each watch is assembled twice, once for mechanical performance and once for finishing, so that a stone shaped by nature sits inside a movement shaped entirely by hand.
