Chronoswiss reads the moon two ways this season. The Lunar Chronograph Aurora takes the softer route, into a dial that shifts colour with the light.
Today, Chronoswiss introduces the Lunar Chronograph Aurora, carrying a complication that has run through the brand since 1999 into what it calls its Modern Mechanical era. The fully CVD-coated dial shifts from deep green to vivid blue, after the aurora borealis that gives it its name.

A chronograph centre seconds hand works with a 30-minute and a 12-hour counter. The moon phase sits at 3 o’clock, the small seconds at 9 o’clock, and a date runs around the outer edge, crossed by white Breguet Losange hands.
The 41mm steel case keeps the onion crown and screwed lugs that have marked Chronoswiss for decades, on a dark grey nubuck strap. Inside, the automatic calibre C.755 gives 46 hours of power reserve through the sapphire case back.

Chronoswiss calls the Aurora a careful evolution rather than a reinvention: a watch that has shaped the brand for two decades, now seen in a different light.
