Chronoswiss introduces the PULSE GMT Silver Guilloche

Chronoswiss designed its new GMT for people who live between time zones, taking the idea from an earlier watch of its own, the Tora.

Chronoswiss today introduces the PULSE GMT Silver Guilloche, limited to 200 pieces in Grade 5 titanium. Its integrated bracelet, the brand says, is the first built straight into a Chronoswiss case.

The curved dial is guilloché by hand at the Chronoswiss Atelier in Lucerne, on machines that are a century old. Each line is cut on its own, so the silver surface shifts with the light rather than sitting still beneath it.

Inside is the automatic calibre C.6002, developed with La Joux-Perret. It is a true mechanical GMT rather than a decorative one. A 24-hour second time zone sits on the left of the dial and the 12-hour home time on the right, with minutes and seconds shared at the centre.

The brand says the watch is built for movement rather than a display case, and the guilloché dial keeps catching new light long after the first glance.
