Chronoswiss introduces the ReSec Snake Manufacture
Chronoswiss took the serpent as its model for the ReSec Snake, and its green dial is guilloché by hand in the brand’s Lucerne Atelier.
Chronoswiss today introduces the ReSec Snake Manufacture, limited to 100 pieces. Its 42mm titanium case wears a colour-changing green PVD coating that shifts from emerald green to turquoise, depending on the light.

The ReSec series’ 3D regulator layout shows off-centre hours at 12 o’clock and central minutes, framed by green hour and minute rings. The brand likens the retrograde seconds at 6 o’clock to the flick of a serpent’s tongue. The dial is green CVD-coated, and a white rubber strap sets off the case.
Chronoswiss works its guilloché on straight-line and rose-engine machines, and says one of these dials takes several hours. Inside is the automatic Manufacture Caliber C.6005, developed with La Joux-Perret, with 55 hours of power reserve, a tungsten rotor and ruthenium-plated finishing.

Behind the colour-shifting case, the green dial is still guilloché by hand, one pass at a time.
