Louis Erard x Astro Boy, a 2340 limited edition
Astro Boy shaped the childhood of Manuel Emch, who leads Louis Erard, and he is the first cultural hero to land on the brand’s 2340.
Louis Erard today introduces the Louis Erard x Astro Boy, its first pop-culture collaboration, limited to 178 pieces with no restock. Tezuka Productions supplied original illustrations from the classic series.

Osamu Tezuka created Astro Boy in 1952, a robot the brand calls more human than many humans. On the dial he is applied in relief, not printed, with a trail of smoke behind him. A villain looms in black, and Metro City is engraved with a vertical satin finish. The case pairs brushed titanium with polished steel and flows into an integrated bracelet, powered by the automatic Sellita SW 300-1.
“Astro Boy is the first. There will be more: video games, cult icons, everything that shaped our collective memory,” says Emch.
Behind Astro Boy, a villain still looms in the skyline — a small reminder that in Metro City, the story is never quite finished.
