In 2011, Legacy Machine N°1 gave MB&F a round case and a new direction: classical watchmaking, turned inside out and made three-dimensional. Fifteen years later, the Machine that started the Legacy story returns as the LM1 EVO.
It comes in two versions. Titanium pairs a silver-toned dial side with black displays and blue hands. Rose gold, a limited edition, sets the same black displays on a deep green.

The architecture is unchanged. Each of the two dials keeps its own hours and minutes. The second time zone can sit 30 or 45 minutes away, or time something while the other keeps the hour. Above them, the large balance still seems to float.
What has changed is how it lives. The case is smaller, with MB&F’s FlexRing shock absorber and screw-down crowns. The power reserve now runs to 60 hours, read on a new inclined dial at six o’clock, and the rubber straps change by hand.
Still wound by hand, still a balance on a stage. Just easier to take with you.
