We chose it because it is a dress watch with a sense of humour. Everything about the Endeavour stays quiet, the Blackor fumé, the 40 mm steel case, the nubuck strap, except the seconds hand at 6 o’clock, which keeps running out of room and jumping back to start again.PRJKT8
The Endeavour is Moser at its most restrained, which makes the seconds here all the more noticeable. At 6 o’clock the hand runs along a 30-second arc, flies back to zero and starts over, and a two-tone disc under the mechanism shows which half of the minute it is in.
The Blackor fumé dial is pale at the centre and close to black at the edge, over a sunburst pattern. Applied indexes, leaf-shaped hands and a transparent lacquer logo keep everything else quiet.
Inside the 40 mm steel case is the automatic HMC 252 with Agenhor’s retrograde module and at least 3 days of power reserve. Water resistant to 30 m, on night blue nubuck alligator.
