We chose it because here the movement is the dial. You can follow the retrograde seconds through every layer of the skeletonised HMC 251, and it still wears like a sports watch: 40 mm of steel, 120 m of water resistance, and a khaki rubber strap in the box besides the bracelet.

The watch

Nothing on this Pioneer is hidden. There is no dial as such: the movement is skeletonised into layers of anthracite bridges and wheels, with gold-coloured hands and hour markers on top.

Among them, the seconds hand sweeps a 30-second arc and snaps back to zero, while a two-tone disc shows which half of the minute it is on. Here Moser developed the retrograde itself, inside the automatic HMC 251, with at least 3 days of power reserve.

The 40 mm steel case has a screw-in crown and is water resistant to 120 m. It comes on an integrated steel bracelet, with a khaki rubber strap too, for when you want it lighter.
