The Worldtimer in plain Grade 5 titanium, brushed, polished and sandblasted, leaves the shape to do the talking. Olivier Gamiette drew it from the space-age designs SpaceOne takes its cue from, and in bare metal it looks most like hardware.
Discs stand in for hands. On the left, a 24-hour ring and a ring of cities read together to give the time in each zone; the hours turn below, the minutes on the right and the seconds at the centre. Two sapphire domes sit over them, the higher one above the cities.
Théo Auffret developed the worldtimer module, with final assembly in Paris. Underneath runs a Soprod P024 automatic at 4 Hz with 38 hours of power reserve. The case is 41.9 by 52.7 mm and 15.88 mm thick including the dome, water resistant to 30 m, on a fabric strap with a titanium buckle.
