This is the all-black Astronomia Solar Zodiac, a small solar system in motion: black DLC titanium, a black PVD dial, and the signs of the zodiac engraved in rhodium where hour numerals would be.
The hand-wound JCAM19 stands upright under a domed sapphire and turns once every 10 minutes. On top sits the sun, a yellow citrine in the Jacob Cut with 288 facets, about 1.67 carats. Its arms carry a flying tourbillon turning in 60 seconds, a blue lacquered globe, 3 hand-painted planets, and the hours and minutes, which a patented differential keeps upright.
Below, a black aventurine base turns the other way with 7 hard-stone planets.
It winds and sets through bows that lift out of the caseback. 447 components, 48 hours of power reserve, 44 mm across and 21 mm tall, with sapphire panes in the case sides. Limited to 9 pieces.
