The Classic Moon is LAURENT FERRIER’s first moonphase, and it arrives with an annual calendar beside it. In steel, the dial is a grey-blue opaline with white Roman numerals, so it all reads calm.
A central hand painted pastel blue points to the date around the edge, where the 31 is picked out in azure. Day and month turn on discs, and the moon shares 6 o’clock with the small seconds. Being an annual calendar, it asks for one correction a year, at the end of February.
The hand-wound LF126.02 has 266 components, beats at 3 Hz and holds 80 hours. Its power reserve indicator is on the movement side. Steel case, 40 mm, on hand-sewn dark grey nubuck.
