Casio’s CRW-001JB-9DR turns the digital watch into a piece of jewellery, reworking the familiar Casio format as a compact ring created in collaboration with J Balvin. The gold ion-plated stainless-steel case features a textured gold brick pattern across the face, framed by subtle rhinestone accents. On the reverse, J Balvin’s signature flower motif adds a distinct collaborative signature.

Despite its miniature proportions, the digital module retains serious functionality: dual time, a 1/100-second stopwatch, auto-calendar, 12/24-hour format and LED backlighting, with an approximate two-year battery life. A pulsing Time Flash function adds another playful detail.

The 25.2 × 19.5 × 6.2 mm case houses a mineral crystal and is water resistant. The ring fits approximately a 20 mm inner diameter, with included spacers for smaller sizes. It is Casio’s digital language reduced to its most unexpected form.
