The Extra Plat Rose Gold is a two-tone watch, and the contrast does most of the work: a white gold dial set inside a warm 5N rose gold case.
The centre of the dial is solid white gold, its pinstripe guilloché cut by hand, framed by a rose gold chapter ring with a filet sauté border. The Roman numerals and the watch's own serial number are printed in black, to match the black-coated steel hands.
The double-ellipse case measures 38.6 × 35.5 mm and 7.7 mm thick, with redesigned lugs that curve down to the wrist. Through the sapphire back you see the hand-wound DR002, developed and assembled at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton under Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini, with 65 hours of power reserve at 4 Hz.
