We chose it because the colour and the mechanics get equal billing. The purple is guilloché cut by hand, the regulator’s gears are screwed on top of it in plain sight, and the black DLC case keeps the whole thing in order. Not one for the shy, and only 50 were made.PRJKT8

The dial is built on two levels: the hand-guilloché plate below, and skeletonised train-wheel bridges screwed straight onto it, so the regulator’s wheels turn in front of you. Hours sit off-centre at 12:00 under a funnel-shaped aperture, minutes run from the centre, seconds turn at 6:00.
Behind it runs the automatic calibre C.299, with a pink CVD rotor and a 42-hour power reserve. The case is 41 mm by 13.85 mm, water resistant to 100 m, on Cordura with a folding clasp. Limited to 50 pieces.
