The Czapek Promenade Goutte de Rosée captures the quiet drama of morning dew through a green Grand Feu enamel dial and an 18K 3N yellow gold case.

Limited to just 25 pieces, this new interpretation of the celebrated Goutte d’Eau transforms the original ripple effect into something warmer, rarer, and more organic. Its name means “drop of dew” in French, and the dial earns that poetry the hard way: a 925 sterling silver base is stamped with a three-dimensional wave pattern, then hand-layered with translucent green Grand Feu enamel and fired repeatedly to create the illusion of depth across a flat surface.

The challenge sits in the green itself. Enamel, silver, relief, heat, and tension do not always behave politely together. Around 60 blanks were produced to achieve 25 finished dials, with rejection rates approaching 50 percent. The result is not just technically impressive, but quietly personal. Each dial carries slight natural variations in tone, depth, and light play.

Inside, the in-house automatic Calibre SXH5.1 features a recycled 950 platinum micro-rotor, seven skeletonised bridges, a 60-hour power reserve, and a clear view through the sapphire caseback.

A green enamel watch, yes. But also a small lesson in why “simple” dials are sometimes the least simple things in the room.
