We chose it because a chiming watch usually lives behind glass, and this one asks to be played. Press the pusher, hear the hours and quarters on two gongs, and watch the hammers strike at 1 o’clock. Limited to 25 pieces.PRJKT8
Press the pusher at 10 o’clock and the Q-Repeater Blue Note tells you the time out loud: the hours, then the quarters, struck on two gongs. You can watch it as well, because the hammers at 1 o’clock are left in view.
The calibre is the C.126, an archive movement made for Chronoswiss and restored in its Lucerne atelier. Here it forms the dial itself: skeletonised bridges, guilloché by hand and coated in navy blue CVD, held in an open titanium frame, with ceramic Super-LumiNova blocks for the dark.
It still reads as a regulator, with the hours at 12 o’clock, central minutes and small seconds at 6. The automatic movement has 35 hours of reserve, and the 42 mm Grade 5 titanium case is water resistant to 3 bar. Blue calfskin strap, lined in light grey Alcantara. Limited to 25 pieces.
