Raketa designed the Pilot on the principle of “nothing superfluous”, and the dial shows it: a matte black face styled like an aircraft instrument, large numerals, and one bright yellow seconds hand.
Everything on it serves legibility. Super-LumiNova covers the markers, the large numerals and the hour and minute hands, and the sapphire crystal is anti-reflective on both sides. The faceted case mixes polished and satin surfaces, carried on into the steel bracelet.
Inside is Raketa’s automatic calibre 2615, made in St Petersburg and tested in 4 positions, with 40 hours of power reserve. The 42 mm case is 13.65 mm thick, with a screw-down crown, and water resistant to 200 m.
A leather strap comes with it too. Both change without tools.
