Series 4 is the Sphere in earth tones: a sand-coloured, finely sandblasted titanium sphere for the hours, a minute hand in sand PVD, and an olive green suede strap.
On the hour the sphere turns on three axes and settles on the next numeral, driven by four bevel gears on two crossed axes inclined at 21°. Opposite, the retrograde minute hand crosses 180° and snaps back to zero. Around them the skeletonised, frosted dial leaves the bridges and wheels in plain view.
The A82 is wound by hand and gives 72 hours, with a hairspring made by Precision Engineering AG. The Grade 5 titanium case is 37 × 45 mm, 17.4 mm at the dome and water resistant to 10 ATM. Limited to 28 pieces, with a titanium folding clasp.
