The Titanium edition is the UR-10 at its most matter-of-fact: a grey PVD dial, black hands and bare sandblasted metal. Fitting, for a watch whose real subject is the ground under your feet, and how fast it is moving.
Three counters keep track of that movement. EARTH, at 2 o’clock, measures the distance covered by the Earth’s daily spin; SUN, at 4 o’clock, the distance along its orbit; ORBIT, at 9 o’clock, both at once. Hours and minutes sit in the centre on syringe hands, and the caseback carries a 24-hour hand with Rotation and Revolution scales.
The automatic UR-10.01 was built with Vaucher Manufacture and runs for 43 hours. A Dual Flow Turbine governs the winding, and skeletonised LIGA wheels keep the complication light. The case is 7.13 mm thick without its crystals and water resistant to 30 m.
