The UR-101 T-Rex is a watch you are meant to touch. The scaled pattern URWERK usually keeps on a dial, safe under sapphire, here covers the bronze case itself: bezel, flanks and lugs.
The bronze is guilloché-engraved, oxidised and then brushed, and it keeps changing as you wear it: URWERK says the brown deepens over time without turning green. The lugs are fixed to the back, which tilts the case slightly towards you.
The time is told by wandering hours: two satellites carry the numerals along a minute arc, with Super-LumiNova on the markers. The self-winding calibre UR-1.01V runs at 4 Hz with 48 hours of power reserve, in a case 41 mm across and 11.86 mm at its highest point, water resistant to 30 m.
On black rubber lined with black calfskin, with a black DLC steel pin buckle. Limited to 100 pieces.
