Our straps are made to fit the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Watches, with the special metal insert for the interchangeable strap system. While the bracelet and rubber strap that comes with the watches are good, there are times when you just prefer to have a leather strap on for a different look.
Every strap is saddle stitched by hand by our leather artisans. Unlike lock stitch created by machines, a saddle stitch is more durable as it is made of two independent stitches that forms a knot at every stitch. Linen thread in 0.35mm thickness was selected for a fine and natural weave.
Our edges are finished with multiple layers of edge paint to seal the raw edges. The edges are sanded and edge paint is applied. After the first layer of edge paint has dried, another round of sanding and another layer of edge paint is applied. This process repeats until the edge paint is smooth and uniform.
