Czapek describes Promenade, a new collection born from its Quai des Bergues and Antarctique lines, as its vision for the future of high-end watchmaking.
Czapek today introduces the Promenade collection at Watches and Wonders 2024, in two dial versions. Goutte d’Eau is limited to 100 pieces. Guilloché Soleil, in Bleu Nuit or Ivoire, is a limited production.

Every dial is asymmetric, with its pattern radiating from the small seconds at 4:30. On Goutte d’Eau, grand feu enamel made with Donzé Cadrans creates ripples that seem to spread across the dial, as when a raindrop falls on a still pond. On Guilloché Soleil, made with Metalem, the seconds dial is the sun and hand-engine-turned rays spread from it.
The steel case is 38mm across, and Czapek says it is as slim as the calibre would allow. Inside is the in-house automatic SXH5.1, its micro-rotor in recycled platinum.
CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel says: “We love to play with colour, techniques and materials, so Promenade is not just a timekeeping instrument but also a canvas for creative expression.”
Promenade takes its calibre from the sporting Antarctique, but Czapek is clear that it is deliberately not a sports watch.
