H. Moser & Cie. believes complications should be seen as much as heard, so its newest minute repeater moves the hammers and chimes onto the dial itself.
The brand today introduces the Endeavour Minute Repeater Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton, limited to 20 pieces. It pairs a fully skeletonised minute repeater with a flying tourbillon fitted with a cylindrical hairspring, inside a 40mm titanium case.

Bringing the hammers forward meant rethinking the movement: curved chimes on a single plane, in full view. The case middle is hollowed out as a sound box, and titanium, Moser says, gives a fuller, longer, clearer chime. At 2 o'clock, a small domed Funky Blue fumé sub-dial keeps the time quietly in view.
The cylindrical hairspring is inherited from 18th-century marine chronometers. Teams at Precision Engineering AG, Moser's sister company, shape each one by hand, a process ten times longer than for a traditional spring. The hand-wound HMC 909 calibre drives it all, with 90 hours of power reserve.
H. Moser & Cie. calls it Haute Horlogerie on its own terms: two of watchmaking’s hardest disciplines, brought together and left entirely open to view.
