Why we chose it

A note from the PRJKT8 team

We chose it because the shape belongs to the early 1900s and the dial does not: an early-wristwatch case with tapered lugs, then a brown fumé and oversized Globolight® numerals that glow. It is the Heritage collection with the volume turned up, and clients who come in for Moser fumé dials will want it on the wrist.

The watch

The shape comes from the early 1900s, when pocket watches were given slim lugs and moved to the wrist. H. Moser & Cie. keeps that silhouette: a round 42 mm steel case, tapered lugs and a notched crown with an “M”.

The dial is less quiet. Espresso fumé brown, a white railway minute track and oversized applied numerals in Globolight®, a ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova®, with sword-shaped hands filled with Super-LumiNova® to match.

Through the sapphire caseback runs the automatic HMC 200 calibre, with at least 3 days of power reserve. Raw kudu leather strap with white stitching. Limited to 200 pieces.
