Michel Parmigiani, founder of Parmigiani Fleurier, built the new Tonda PF Micro-Rotor around the Golden Ratio, the proportion he says guides everything from the case to the dial.
Parmigiani Fleurier today introduces the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Platinum Stone Blue, limited to 25 pieces and made almost entirely in platinum: case, bracelet and dial.

The sandblasted Stone Blue dial, in platinum, takes its colour from Le Corbusier's palette. Platinum was chosen over white gold for its quieter, velvety glow. Gold rhodium-plated appliques mark the hours, and a sapphire case back reveals the ultra-thin PF703 calibre, its platinum micro-rotor decorated with Grain d'Orge guilloché. Unlike a conventional rotor, the miniature version leaves the movement's architecture visible rather than covering it.
“The Golden Ratio is far more than a mathematical formula: it is the universal breath that orders beauty and harmony,” says Michel Parmigiani, founder and master watchmaker of Parmigiani Fleurier.
Parmigiani Fleurier calls it a companion rather than a statement, made for quiet, personal wear, not for being seen.
