Audemars Piguet Royal Oak - Smoked Yellow Dial

This is the Royal Oak "Jumbo" with nothing left in steel: case, bezel and bracelet are all 18-carat yellow gold, and the dial follows suit.

The "Petite Tapisserie" dial is a smoked yellow gold tone that darkens towards the edge, so the grid seems to glow at the centre. Yellow gold applied markers and Royal Oak hands with a luminescent coating keep it readable. The case is 39 mm across and only 8.1 mm thick, the slim proportions the Jumbo is known for.

Inside is calibre 7121, AP's self-winding movement for this model, beating at 4 Hz with a 52-hour power reserve, visible through the sapphire caseback. Hours, minutes and date, water resistant to 50 m.

It closes with an AP folding clasp on the gold bracelet.
