Bovet 19Thirty collection Special Edition

The 19Thirty is a pocket watch moved to the wrist. Bovet put the crown and its bow at 12 o'clock, where they sat on 19th-century pocket watches, and that is the first thing anyone notices.

This special edition has a hand-decorated salmon dial with Arabic numerals, a warm colour that suits the polished steel case. The case is 42 mm across and just 9.05 mm thick, slimmer than the pocket-watch look suggests.

Inside is Bovet's own hand-wound movement, finished by hand, with a single barrel that runs for 7 days. A power reserve indicator tells you when that week is nearly up, and small seconds turn beside the hours and minutes. Water resistant to 30 m.
