Gentissima Oursin 36 Black Onyx

This is the Oursin with nothing to soften it: a case of solid yellow gold, 223 gold spikes, and a dial of black onyx.

The case is 3N yellow gold, glass-blasted to a soft matt finish, while the spikes are polished, screwed in by hand, and get smaller as they near the dial. Gold spikes mark the hours on the deep black onyx, and an onyx insert sits in the crown. Above it, the sapphire is faceted into an octagon on the inside.

The automatic GG-005 is built on the Zenith Elite, with 50 hours of reserve at 4 Hz. The case is 36.5 mm across, 9.6 mm thick and water resistant to 30 m.
