Gentissima Oursin 36 – Anthracite

Oursin is French for sea urchin, and Gérald Genta drew this case after a holiday spent among them. The Anthracite is the quietest way to wear the idea.

The case is sandblasted Grade 5 titanium, set with 223 polished white-gold beads, each screwed in one by one. From across a room it reads as one grey object; up close, the gold catches the light and the titanium does not. The dial is anthracite guilloché, worked in octagonal sections.

The automatic GG-005 is built on the Zenith Elite, with 50 hours of reserve at 4 Hz. The case is 36.5 mm across, 9.6 mm thick and water resistant to 30 m.
