The SBGJ255 marks 55 years of the 44GS, the case that set out what Grand Seiko calls the Grand Seiko Style. Here that case is made in high-intensity titanium, and the whole watch weighs just 107 g.

The 44GS shape is flat planes and sharp edges, with hands and indexes cut to catch the light, and LumiBrite on both for the dark. A 24-hour hand keeps a second time zone, and the local hour hand can be moved on its own, with the date following it.

Inside is the calibre 9S86, a Hi-Beat movement with approximately 55 hours of power reserve, behind a see-through caseback engraved LIMITED EDITION and the serial number. 40.0 mm across, water resistant to 10 bar. Limited to 1,200 pieces.
