Description

This HM8 Mark 2 is sapphire blue: a deep, sparkling colour from mineral metallic pigments, the kind used in car paint, set into CarbonMacrolon® body panels on a Grade 5 titanium chassis.

The idea is MB&F’s love of cars. The time is read from the front, through two reflective sapphire prisms with magnifying lenses, like the speedometer of an old sports car: jumping hours on one side, trailing minutes on the other.

Underneath is MB&F’s own module on a Girard-Perregaux automatic base, at 4 Hz with 42 hours of reserve, wound by a 22K gold rotor. The case measures 47 by 41.5 by 19 mm and is water resistant to 30 m.
