Description

White is the HM8 Mark 2 that stays in MB&F’s regular collection, dressed like a racing car in its works livery: white CarbonMacrolon® body panels, with green picked out on the strap and the rotor.

Maximilian Büsser built it around his love of cars. The time is read from the front, through two reflective sapphire prisms with magnifying lenses: the hours jump into place at the top of each hour, and the minutes trail along beside them.

Through the top sapphire, the battle-axe rotor, 22K red gold under a green CVD coating, winds MB&F’s own module on a Girard-Perregaux automatic base. It runs at 4 Hz for 42 hours. The Grade 5 titanium case is 47 by 41.5 by 19 mm and water resistant to 30 m.
