Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein
Description
A regulator splits the time into its parts, and Alain Silberstein gives each part its own shape and colour: a large blue arrow for the minutes, a red triangle for the hours and a small yellow serpentine hand for the seconds.
The hours turn in a matte silver counter at 12 o'clock on a matte black dial, with yellow and red indexes on the flange. It takes a moment to read at the start; after that it is the part people ask about.
The 40 mm case pairs micro-blasted grade 2 titanium with polished grade 5 titanium, under sapphire treated on both sides, and is water resistant to 100 m. The automatic Sellita SW266-1 shows through the see-through caseback, with around 38 hours of reserve.
Limited to 178 pieces. This piece is on black nylon with a hook-and-loop fastener and titanium quick-release spring bars, with its box and papers.
