Description

MB&F made the LM Perpetual in red gold, platinum, white gold, titanium, yellow gold and palladium before it came to stainless steel. The salmon dial plate is what keeps this one from looking cold.

The calendar was built from scratch for MB&F by Stephen McDonnell. In place of a grand lever, a mechanical processor treats every month as 28 days long and adds days only where a month needs them, so it never races through dates that do not exist. The quick-set pushers are disconnected while the date is changing, and the leap year has a pusher of its own.

Every indication sits on the dial side, under a suspended 14 mm balance. Hand-wound from twin barrels, about 72 hours of reserve, 581 components, in a 44 mm case water resistant to 30 m.
