PATEK PHILIPPE - 5205G

An annual calendar knows the long months from the short ones, so it asks to be corrected only once a year, when February ends. The 5205 sets it out on an open, uncluttered dial.

Day, date and month sit in three windows set in an arc across the top of the dial, with the moonphase and the 24-hour indicator at 6 o'clock. The dial is two-tone silver with applied baton markers, and the case is 40 mm of 18-carat white gold.

The self-winding calibre 324 S QA LU 24H/206 drives it all, with a central seconds hand and a power reserve of 35 to 45 hours. Water resistant to 30 m.

It is fitted with an 18-carat white gold pin buckle.
