Description
Rose gold with an anthracite flange is the quieter of the first two SP Ones. The dark bevelled ring matches the ruthenium bridges, so the warmth comes from the case and the movement does the talking.
By MB&F’s own account no watch it has made is smaller or slimmer: 38 mm wide and 12 mm high, with no bezel and its lugs folded into a rounded, pebble-like case. Inside, three equal circles share the space: the open barrel, the balance at 2 o’clock, and the hours and minutes at 6 o’clock, tilted on conical gears.
The in-house calibre is hand-wound, with 191 components, beating at 2.5 Hz and running for 72 hours. Water resistant to 30 m.
