Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green
Description
Victory Green is a racing colour, and the dial was cut to suit it. The “Crossroads” guilloché runs in deep, straight, widely spaced lines that look more like tyre tread than sunburst.
Metalem engraves it in Alloy 401, Czapek’s blend of gold, platinum, palladium and silver, and the green goes on by PVD. The 30-minute and 12-hour counters are recessed, a tachymeter runs round the edge and the date jumps at 6 o’clock.
The engine is the SXH3, an integrated automatic chronograph developed with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. It beats at 5 Hz, uses a column wheel and vertical clutch, is a COSC chronometer and runs for about 65 hours. A skeletonised 22k pink-gold rotor turns behind the sapphire caseback.
The 41.5 mm case is 316L steel, water resistant to 50 m, on hand-sewn calfskin or Alcantara. Limited to 18 pieces.
