Description

Two materials, each about 0.2 mm thick, stacked into one dial: Tahitian mother-of-pearl below, blue aventurine glass on top. The nacre’s violet and green comes through a field of tiny metallic stars.

Czapek patented the construction and makes it with GT Cadrans. The small seconds at 4:30 are milled straight into the aventurine without breaking through to the nacre beneath. Since no two shells or sheets of aventurine are the same, no two dials are either.

The 38 mm steel case is 10.8 mm thick and water resistant to 5 ATM. Inside is the in-house SXH5.1, wound by a recycled platinum micro-rotor, with a 60-hour power reserve.
