The Time Jumper in Steel
Description
The guilloché on the Time Jumper in Steel is cut in three dimensions, so it seems to fall away into the centre: a black hole, in Czapek’s own description. The 40.5 mm stainless steel case has the curved profile of a flying saucer, and the cover is white gold.
Through the loupe in that cover you read the hour as two digits on sapphire discs, jumping across a 24-hour count, with the minutes trailing round the blue ring at the rim. Press the pusher at 6 o’clock and the half-hunter cover swings open on the movement.
That movement is the Calibre 10.01, designed and assembled in-house, with a central rotor in recycled platinum, a beat of 4 Hz and a 55-hour power reserve. Water resistant to 3 ATM, so keep it out of the bath. Blue rubber strap with a steel buckle. Limited to 100 pieces.
