Description

Introducing the latest edition of the La Petite Seconde Metropolis from Louis Erard and The Horophile. A year after launching their collaborative Art Deco-inspired capsule collection, they return with a striking new rendition. This time, the sleek green dial of the La Petite Seconde Metropolis looks boldly toward the future.

Designed as an alternative to the traditional three-hand watch, this timepiece draws inspiration from the New York Art Deco style of the 1920s, reimagined with a contemporary twist—Neo Deco! This collaboration is a tale of two worlds blending seamlessly together, brought to life by Amr Sindi, the watch enthusiast behind The Horophile, and Louis Erard’s creative CEO, Manuel Emch. This watch reflects a shared passion that has grown through 16 years of friendship, embodying the strength of collaboration.

Born out of the iconic Art Deco period in 1929, Louis Erard’s roots run deep in Jura, Switzerland, a region known for its architectural brilliance and natural beauty. This latest edition honors that heritage with its sophisticated evergreen tones, linking past and present in a timeless tribute.

Features

The Metropolis watch is built on the foundation of the Petite Seconde, housed in a 39mm steel case with Louis Erard’s signature “LE” crown. The design bridges two eras, merging the Roaring 20s with the modern 2020s, creating a new and bold style—Neo Deco.
