M.A.D. Editions - M.A.D.1s Purple

The purple on this M.A.D.1S was never offered to everyone. MB&F kept this colour for its Friends, the suppliers, and its Tribe, the collectors; the wider public got ice-blue accents instead.

M.A.D.Editions is MB&F's more accessible line, and the 1S is its slimmer version. The movement sits upside down so the triple-blade winding rotor spins on top, where a dial would usually be, and the time reads from a single cylinder on the side of the case.

Inside is a Swiss La Joux-Perret G101, automatic, at 4 Hz with 68 hours of reserve. The 42 mm stainless steel case is 15 mm tall and water resistant to 30 m. It comes on leather with a steel folding buckle.
