URWERK UR-100V

The UR-100V tells the time by satellites. Hour numerals ride on rotating arms and point to the minutes along an arc. This one is titanium all over, in a luminous metallic grey that changes with the light.

While the hours travel the arc, two more indications keep track of the planet. One shows how far a point on the equator travels in 20 minutes; the other, how far the Earth moves around the Sun in the same 20 minutes. Useful when a meeting runs long.

Calibre UR 12.02 is self-winding, with a Windfänger airscrew to steady the winding, and has 48 hours of power reserve. The microblasted titanium case is 41 by 49.7 mm and 14 mm thick, water resistant to 30 m.
