Description

The Flying Finn VB77 is a limited-edition automatic racing watch developed by S.U.F Helsinki in collaboration with Finnish racing driver Valtteri Bottas and Stepan Sarpaneva. Limited to 77 pieces, it combines motorsport-inspired design with S.U.F’s distinctly independent approach to watchmaking.

Its 44 mm case is machined from Finnish Outokumpu stainless steel and finished with a tough DLC coating, while the multilayer skeleton dial uses a distinctive red, black, blue and white racing palette. The open-worked design exposes the Swiss Soprod A10 automatic calibre beneath, with rhodium plating, perlage and Côtes de Genève finishing. Each movement is individually checked, regulated, oiled and fine-tuned at S.U.F’s Helsinki workshop.

A signature detail is the skeletonised stainless-steel date wheel, where the seventh day of each month is displayed as “77”. Blue two-tone Sarpaneva hands, Super-LumiNova detailing and a blue calf leather racing strap complete the specification.
