We chose it because it is the Tonda PF Chronograph we find easiest to wear. Without a date and at 40 mm, the Mineral Blue dial has space, the platinum bezel shows only when it catches the light, and a 5 Hz COSC movement keeps it honest underneath. It goes with a suit as readily as with a T-shirt.PRJKT8
Take the date off the Tonda PF Chronograph, bring the case down to 40 mm, and this is what is left: two counters, a small seconds and a Mineral Blue dial with room to breathe.
The blue is cut by hand in Grain d’Orge guilloché and changes its shade through the day. The indexes are applied 18-carat gold, rhodium-plated, and the hour and minute hands are skeletonised so the pattern carries on beneath them. The knurled bezel is 950 platinum; case and bracelet are polished and satin-finished steel.
The PF070 integrated chronograph inside runs at 5 Hz and is a COSC chronometer, with a 65-hour reserve. The case is 12.72 mm thick and water resistant to 100 m.
