We chose it for the dial. It is grained by hand in 18-carat white gold, using a technique Michel Parmigiani kept alive through his restoration work, so no two Morning Blues are quite alike. Turn it over for the PF780 and its rose-gold bridges. Handing it back is the hard part.PRJKT8
Thirty years after the Toric first gave form to Michel Parmigiani’s vision, the Maison returns to its founding collection with the Toric Petite Seconde in platinum and Morning Blue.
The polished 40.6 mm case carries the Toric’s knurled bezel around a dial in 18-carat white gold, grained by hand with a technique Michel Parmigiani kept alive through his restoration work. Slight variations in the surface make each dial its own.
Through the sapphire caseback, the hand-wound PF780 shows bridges in 18-carat rose gold with Côtes de Fleurier and two visible barrels. It runs at 4 Hz with a 60-hour power reserve.
On an Akoya Grey nubuck alligator strap, stitched by hand, with a 950 platinum pin buckle.
