All movements at Habring2 are uniformly adjusted, set and regulated to pass the chronometer test, even if no certification is envisaged. “From our experience, we know that our movements would pass certification 100 percent on the first attempt,” says Richard Habring.

The escapement is selectively adjusted at the factory for the best performance, which means that the lowest possible penetration of the escapement pallets with the escape wheel reduces the release resistance at each half oscillation of the balance.
