IWC keeps the rest of the blue sun-ray dial quiet: a date, and small seconds that stop when you pull the crown, so you can set the time to the second. At 45 mm the case is large for a dress watch, but the plain dial keeps it calm.

Inside is the hand-wound calibre 59210, made by IWC, with 215 components, 30 jewels, 28,800 vph and an indexless balance with a Breguet spring. It stops itself at 192 hours rather than run on with too little power to keep good time, and the Côtes de Genève shows through the sapphire caseback.

This piece is on leather with a steel deployant buckle, water resistant to 3 ATM, with its box and papers.
