Legacy Machine 101 Stainless Steel Blue

The LM101 is the essence of the Legacy Machine collection — a celebration of classical watchmaking principles reinterpreted through MB&F’s three-dimensional architecture. Developed entirely in-house by MB&F, the movement’s aesthetics and finishing specifications were defined by Kari Voutilainen, bringing traditional haute horlogerie discipline to a radically modern display.

The 2021 editions introduce subtle yet meaningful refinements. A stainless steel case joins the collection, while the dial layout has been simplified by reducing the bezel and removing the Legacy Machine engraving, allowing the slightly enlarged sub-dials to take centre stage. The result is a clearer, more focused presentation of time and power reserve.

Hovering above it all is the LM101’s signature feature: a monumental 14 mm flying balance wheel fitted with four traditional regulating screws. For the 2021 models, MB&F incorporates a ©Straumann double hairspring, improving concentric breathing and long-term stability. Stripped back, elegant, and mechanically expressive, the LM101 remains an icon of the Legacy Machines.
