Seconde Majeure (Delivery End of December)

The SECONDE MAJEURE is a rare meeting point between Baltic’s restrained vintage sensibility and SpaceOne’s mechanical futurism. Built around a jumping-hour module developed by independent watchmaker Théo Auffret, the watch rethinks time display through suspended sapphire discs and an exposed mechanical architecture that feels unusually alive on the wrist.

Hours appear at 12 o’clock, minutes at 6, while an oversized central seconds hand cuts across the dial with constant motion. The dial itself is machined from a single piece of maillechort and offered in two finishes: vertically brushed or the hand-finished Charbonné treatment executed in Auffret’s Paris atelier, requiring up to three hours of manual work per dial.

Inside sits the Swiss-made Soprod P024 automatic calibre paired with Auffret’s proprietary jumping-hour module. The result is technical watchmaking with genuine personality experimental, highly mechanical, yet remarkably wearable.
