The dial is black and white, with oversized numerals and a large 0 at the top. Raketa's old specialists said it is simply more logical to start counting time from zero. Raketa also tells how Mikhail Gorbachev, asked in Italy to explain Perestroika, simply showed his Big Zero.
The 40 mm steel case is 14.05 mm thick, with sapphire, a synthetic ruby inside the crown and 10 ATM water resistance. Raketa's automatic calibre 2615, made in Saint Petersburg, runs for 40 hours; its red rotor shows through the mineral crystal caseback.
On a genuine leather strap with a quick-change system.
